Demo: Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) automates (mainframe) data transformation

zConnector for Hadoop V3 demo: copy VSAM

This is a demo of IBM Infosphere System z Connector for Hadoop, v3. It can move data from JDBC, VSAM/QSAM, DB2 and other sources to Hadoop and NoSQL databases without staging, MIPS for data conversion, or traditional ETL hassle.

In this particular demo we move VSAM data to Hive, automatically interpreting metadata in a COBOL copybook. (PL/1 metadata is also supported.)
